I truly enjoyed working with B. and her husband this week. I aimed to capture mom’s sunny disposition and the sunny season for her little one’s birth, and thought bright and breezy would fit the bill. I very much look forward to meeting their baby for his newborn session!

There are still a few spaces open for this weekend’s mini sessions! I’m excited to get another chance to play in the studio – I love working outdoors, but there is nothing that says studio portraits have to be canned and dull. Check out these images from a recent studio session (and yes, she really is hoola hooping with a broken arm!):

I’ll put up a few sneak peeks tomorrow, but wanted to give a little peek into the new studio! I will be having an open house on Friday, June 22nd from 6 to 10pm. Please RSVP to teya@teyaphoto.com if you would like to attend. There will be wine, hors d’oeuvres, music and door prizes.
I’m also having studio mini-sessions June 9th and 10th. These mini-sessions last half an hour, result in between five and ten proofs and cost $50, including an 8×10. I’m happy to offer this special value to introduce my work and studio to the surrounding areas.
The studio is in a turn of the century textile mill building – I’ve completely rehabbed my space and am very proud of it!

Meet the new Mrs. Massachusetts, Wendy Reynolds. We had a session for some publicity images earlier this month. Let’s all wish her luck as she competes in the Mrs. United States pageant!
