In case you might not have noticed, my little blog has gotten a facelift and will contain a lot more information. It’s still a work in progress and needs a few tweaks to the design and for me to add some content, but teyaphoto fans and clients will be able to read all the information on prices and details along with stuff about my life and session sneak peaks (and more articles and resources for photographers too).
In celebration of my blog progress, I’m sharing an image of a little cutie who visited me earlier this year for her second teyaphoto session and another image of this same cutie when she was only one. They change so much in a year! She’s grown up a lot since her one-year-old portraits, but there is still that same mischievous little spark.
Had a great time in the studio doing the mini-sessions and got some fabulous images for the yearbook.
Just for fun, a closer crop:
I know that some of you missed the mini-session day, but still would like a mini-session of your own. I'm happy to open up the studio for 20 minute minis with the same pricing for a minimum of five seniors. So if you want gorgeous yearbook photos with a minimum time investment, gather up four friends and give me a call!
I've been trying to get my footing with the new baby and I'm sorry that blog posting has suffered. I'd love to share with you two families that had recent sessions in the studio.
I really enjoyed meeting T, J, and L. What a fabulous little family! Big brother was so great w/his younger siblings and all three were really naturals in front of the camera with a fantastic, easy-going spirit.
The E. family was also a lot of fun and although skeptical at first, mom and dad went along w/my silly suggestions and we got a portrait I love (I hope you do too!).
and aren't these two the coolest? I adored this family's style and closeness.
I had a good time with this family in the studio last week, and they were wonderfully patient with me, allowing me to take breaks for the baby who was in the other room with the sitter. These two were quite the jokesters, and when I saw this shot I was instantly reminded of a Norman Rockwell painting. Of course we took some more traditional shots of the entire family, but I wanted to share this one on here.

Deadlines for senior yearbook photos are fast approaching. I’m just about booked for August, but will be offering senior portrait mini-sessions Saturday, September 6th for those who would like the same teyaphoto vision, color, and flawless retouching, but who are cutting it close to the deadline.
Sessions will be 20 minutes and include 5-7 proofs, the yearbook image and a set of 8 wallets for $100. Seniors who book a teyaphoto on-location session for later in the fall or for next spring receive a mini-session for $50!
Shepherd Hill Regional deadline is 9/15 and Leicester is 9/13!
I am now very close to my due date, and have defied my doctors by not delivering two weeks ago. Although I have some very patient clients who have told me to take my time, I might as well proof my last few sessions before going on leave.
I couldn’t resist working on this little darling’s one year portraits! She was such a sweetheart in the studio even though mom and I disturbed her nap to put her in crazy outfits and hats and take her portrait!

I am exhausted but happy! We raised over $1500 so far for breast cancer-related charity. I met lots of great women, and had a great time while working towards supporting this worthy cause. I need a little time to recover before proofing all the images, but couldn’t resist sharing a few. Thanks to all who participated!

I’ve had the privilege of shooting images for the Performing Arts Connection and their upcoming brochure. I’m enjoying meeting all the talented teachers and students!
This young lady, a budding performer herself, came into the studio for some headshots this weekend. Here is a little sneak peek for her!

Everyone has different facets to their personality, and I’m so glad I was able to capture this slightly girly image from today’s ‘no makeup’ kind of senior. I think she’s definitely one of those that doesn’t need makeup at all! I had a blast with you gals today – hope to see you soon!

More babies!
I love this little "and another thing daddy" expression:

and little baby, C., who came to see me in the studio:
and last but not least, twins!
