2009 Senior Season

by Teya on July 2, 2008 in senior portraits

My first session back from maternity leave was a great one!  Meet my two Class of 2009 senior representatives.  I love shooting rep sessions because I get to play and do some fun shots just for me.  L. was a sport (literally) about working with me to get the perfect cheer shot, and E. was a trooper w/her trash the dress attitude by wading in the stream (yes, we do have some shots where she is knee deep in the water).

I’m also kicking off the new fall season with a brand new website at http://teyaphoto.com!

Please give it a look to see new session types and details and bunches of new gallery images.  I’d love to hear what you think and will give the first two new clients who book an on-location session through the website contact form a complimentary digital file from your session (use it on your holiday cards or facebook or to send to friends!).

I must apologize for the lack of posting on my blog.  My husband and I are expecting our second baby and I have been cursed with the misleadingly named "morning" sickness.  I’m trying my best to keep my head above water and have been busy with seniors as their fall deadlines approach.  I will share more of the sessions soon, but I’ll leave a preview today, J., who was great fun to work with:

Pretty in Pink

by Teya on September 13, 2007 in senior portraits

Everyone has different facets to their personality, and I’m so glad I was able to capture this slightly girly image from today’s ‘no makeup’ kind of senior.  I think she’s definitely one of those that doesn’t need makeup at all! I had a blast with you gals today – hope to see you soon!

One more senior

by Teya on September 3, 2007 in senior portraits

Well, the first of another group scheduled for September (though Sept. also will bring families, babies and some commercial work).  I was so happy that B. had the perfect dress to go with my new settee!

August is for Seniors

by Teya on August 4, 2007 in senior portraits

I’m back from vacation!  I have a few things to catch you all up on (new ventures and exciting shoots, etc.), but I wanted to share these two seniors I had the pleasure of photographing this weekend.

Seniors!

by Teya on July 2, 2007 in senior portraits

This spring was extremely busy!  I’ve been remiss in the blog updates, but I promise I’ll get back on track and show some recent sessions.  Here are a few recent seniors:72blog1

Off to college

by Teya on April 27, 2007 in senior portraits

M. came to me for a very last-minute senior session (he graduates in a month!).  It was actually a beautiful day and my first time this season to one of my mill/waterfall spots.  I’m so happy to finally be seeing some color again!

We took a few in uniform:

Nearing the end of senior season

by Teya on October 26, 2006 in senior portraits

I was happy to fit E. in for one of my last class of 2007 yearbook/senior sessions.  We froze a bit, as the high that day was 48 (I know, it only gets colder, but I’m still a Miami girl at heart), but as we got into things it warmed up a bit and we took advantage of the stunning scenery.

Although the yearbook deadlines for most schools are fast approaching, I will be booking sessions in the spring for those members of the class of 2007 who still want the selection and variety of outdoor on-location sessions.

Trees!

by Teya on October 20, 2006 in senior portraits

Lately I’ve been putting my seniors up in trees.  Something about the changing leaves and last of the warmer weather has inspired me to have a little fun and try to bring out the kid in them.  K. was totally game:

A. on the other hand was a bit more hesitant, so we found her an alternative to climbing :)
