Trampoline Kick

by Teya on January 10, 2007 in headshots, teyaphoto stuff

Maybe it’s because I always wanted one growing up (and never had one), but today’s shoot featured another trampoline.  The beautiful and talented Sam was up for some jumping shots, so I snapped some while she used the opportunity to warm up (I think it would have otherwise been too cold for an outdoor shoot today!).

Sam needed headshots (she’s an actress), so here’s a sample of one.  I love working with babies and children, but sometimes it’s so great to have someone who will hold still :)

Soulful at Eight

by Teya on December 17, 2006 in children's photography,headshots

Meet T. She isn’t an
ear to ear grin for no reason kind of girl, but I think her eyes speak to her
spirit as much as a big smile would.

About Town

by Teya on November 20, 2006 in family portraits, headshots

Yesterday was a gloomy dreary day in central
Massachusetts.  It was so cloudy it was almost dark when I arrived for my
2:30 shoot.  To make the best of the weather and to have some fun, K.
& J. and I decided to head to the town center and take some shots in front
of the deserted shops and streets.  I had a great time turning the gloomy
clouds into soft pretty light and I think their wardrobe choice (J. is a
conductor and was needing some new head shots), made it even more fun!

Those curls!

by Teya on September 26, 2006 in children's photography,headshots

I had the pleasure of shooting Delylah (age 7) yesterday at one of my new favorite spots.  She was happy to climb and run and tumble and I think we got some fabulous shots!  Here is a quieter moment, which I was all to glad to capture.

The next big star

by Teya on September 9, 2006 in children's photography,headshots

This is Julia, 10, an actress (a working actress :) ), who I did a test shoot with this evening.  We got kicked out of the park by the setting sun and the closing gates, but it was so much fun to work with her!  Here’s one from our session:

My spin on a typical headshot

by Teya on September 7, 2006 in headshots

I did a concept shoot with a few great models a while back and am editing some additional files of this fabulous model, Lauren.  Once we had the shots I wanted to try out of the way, we had a good time acting all serious and corporate in the office building setting.  Here is Lauren with her best vacant corporate drone stare.  I got some smiling, "I love where I work" looks (as of course I can do that too :) ), but there is something about this one I like.
